Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move:- (a) re-numbering the existing provision as sub-clause (1); (b) by inserting the following new sub-clause immediately after the renumbered sub-clause (1) – “(1A) The compensation for personal injury or death caused under subsection (1) shall be as follows- (a) five million shillings in case of death; (b) two million shillings in case of permanent disability; and (c) one million shillings in case of bodily injury, depending on the extent of the bodily injury."
