    "content": "“(c) a fine of one million shillings or imprisonment of two years or to both fine and imprisonment” This is to enhance the fines and penalties for sport hunting of category “A” animals, so that it can be consistent with the amendment that we have just passed; so that if a person kills category “A” animal, he can be fined not less than Kshs20 million or is imprisoned for life. For category “B” animals, the fine is Kshs5 million or imprisonment of five years or both fine and imprisonment. For category “C” animals, the fine is Kshs1 million or imprisonment of two years or both."
