As you are now fully aware, the County Assembly of Embu, pursuant, to Article 181 of the Constitution and Section 33 of the County Governments Act, No.17 of 2012, on 28th January, 2014 approved the following Motions:- To remove from office by impeachment the County Governor and the Deputy Governor of Embu County. Notification of this approval was made to the Speaker of the Senate by the Speaker of Embu County Assembly by letters dated 29th January, 2014 The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposes only.
