    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I want to say that it is time for this country to move forward and implement this Constitution fully and smoothly. We should read, appreciate and understand the letter and spirit in which Kenyans overwhelmingly passed this Constitution. It is for us, as a nation, to organize our politics in a way that takes the lives and welfare of Kenyans forwards without having to derail it through short-term gains. When I talk about short-term gains, I mean people who make contributions to national debates because of what is likely to happen in 2012, and what they want to be perceived by the public out there without looking far into the future, when we shall have retired as politicians and we shall no longer be leaders.
