    "content": "We also want the LSK to relate with Judiciary in the right way. As has been said by the contributors before me, the Judiciary really needs to be looked into. The LSK is the one that carries the mandate of the consumers of justice. So, we would want them also to engage the Judiciary more and more and to be contributors for the betterment of the Judiciary. For instance, we know that the criminal justice system in this country has gone down, almost to a halt and lawyers practise in these courts. So, we want the LSK to come up strongly and strengthen the criminal justice system and even the office of the Deputy Public Prosecutor (DPP). We wish to see an independent office of the DPP getting more input from the LSK. Also, we want the LSK to profile public interest matters. It is not that they have not done it before, but we want to see more and more of that, particularly now that we have an expanded Bill of Rights in our Constitution at Chapter 4."
