    "content": "“The President shall appoint – (a) the Chief Justice and the Deputy Chief Justice, in accordance with the recommendations of the Judicial Service Commission, and subject to the approval of the National Assembly.” Hon. Wandayi, that is clear. So, if the Constitution wanted the IG to be appointed after recommendation by the Commission there is nothing that would have prevented the framers of the Constitution from exactly making that provision. So, you are introducing some jurisprudence unknown to the Constitution, but it is of course your right to hold that view and I cannot correct you."
