    "content": "Thank you, hon. Speaker. As you have rightly put it, the issue of the COMESA extension is not in our hands. It is in the hands of the member States. We have been asking for the extension. According to the international trade law, the extensions are over. We have had our final league. Whether the member States will sympathise with us and give an extension again, it depends on them. On the Statement that the hon. Member asked last time, it is true that it lapsed. We had an answer but he had not renewed the request until today. It is the first time that he is asking for the Statement. So, we can give the answer even tomorrow, if the programme of this House allows us."
