    "content": "Mr. Speaker, with regard to deepening our regional trade and expanding the market for the private sector, we will continue to position Kenya through appropriate economic policy and reforms to reap the benefits from regional integration, with opportunities accorded by the East African Community (EAC) Common Market Protocol and the wider Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) market. We are fully committed to the implementation of the provisions of the Common Market Protocol, and we are supporting the ongoing regulations of the East African Monetary Union Protocol to ensure that the exercise comes to a logical conclusion for the benefit of the East African people."
