Pursuant to Standing Order No.44(2)(c), I wish to request a Statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Administration and National Security regarding the unending tension between the residents of Nyakach Constituency and Belgut and Sigowet-Soin Constituencies. Incidents of stock theft in the larger Nyakach area have increased considerably, leading to clashes between neighbouring constituencies. Lives have been lost, houses torched and livestock stolen.
