    "content": "However, it is quite unfortunate that the governors to whom we are giving this money are using a lot of it for Recurrent Expenditure and not Development Expenditure. A lot of this money is again used on unnecessary projects like going for trips, seminars and entertainment. We all know that last year a particular governor allocated himself a whooping Kshs50 million as entertainment allowance for one year. That would actually translate to about Kshs1 million per week on entertainment. One is left wondering whether this governor or the governors are keen on entertaining themselves or giving service to the common mwananchi ."
