    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, as we are all aware, the Constitution was the desire of all Kenyans. Those of us who were privileged to be charged with the responsibility of implementing it should appreciate that history has bestowed upon us a unique opportunity and we should, therefore, be cautious during the implementation phase and ensure that we read the letter and spirit of the Constitution. Let us appreciate that the Constitution will outlive all of us. Ours is to lay a firm constitutional foundation for serving the generations to come, and place our country on the path of durable social stability and prosperity."
