    "content": "With regard to the wage bill, it is important for this House to remember that in our Supplementary Estimates, we voted Kshs120 million to give to the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC), so that the national debate on salaries can start. That debate was launched on Monday last week. So, it was with the support of this House that this debate is on and it is wonderful to hear our contribution. I have had occasion to appear before the Media and talk about the wage bill, but also express my own concerns, as I have done over the years, to the problem of wastage and corruption.
