    "content": "Thank you, hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I want to respond to the Statement sought by hon. Mwadime. He rose on the Floor of the House and requested for a Statement from my Committee. In the Statement, he sought to know when works on Voi-Mwatate-Wundanyi Road A23 and C104 will be completed. In his Statement request, he stated as follows:- “This road has been under construction for the last two years with no sign of completion. The Government has not paid the contractor the full amount owed since 2013. The road works were due to be completed in March 2013 but the amount owed currently is Kshs.585 million. That amounts to about 70 per cent of the works completed, leaving about 30 per cent as incomplete due to financial constraints.” His questions are as follows:- (a) When will the Government pay the contractors to allow them to continue with the work on the road?
