"content": "Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, the Committee on Members’ Welfare sat on 12th August and made its recommendations to the PSC. The PSC met on 27th August, and 20th September to consider the applications. The minutes of the 189th meeting of the PSC included a resolution in which Mrs. Jennifer Baraza was replaced with Mrs. Lorna Mumelo. This is after the initial resolution was sent to the House and there was debate on the Floor and there were some Members who had rejected the nomination of Mrs. Jennifer Baraza. Therefore, that matter was also discussed in the last Session and it lapsed. The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposes only.
