    "content": "Pursuant to Standing Order No.232(2), (5) and (6), my Committee examined and discussed the Budget Policy Statement and made recommendations taking into account the provisions of Article 218 of our Constitution. In reviewing the 2014/2015 Budget Policy Statement, the Committee held five sittings during which the Cabinet Secretary, National Treasury was invited to give his views and clarify on certain matters concerning the BPS. The Committee also received submissions from different Departmental Committees and held extensive discussions with the Chairpersons."
