The request being made is for a Statement from the Cabinet Secretary in charge of registration of persons specifying how many birth certificates have been issued in Meru County in the years 2012, 2013 and this year, 2014. We also need the Statement to explain why there is such lengthy and unreasonable delay in issuance of birth certificates in Meru County.
