    "content": "Indeed, we are discussing a Report that is almost five years old but I think that there is something fundamental about it that needs to be put squarely before Parliament. That is the role and responsibility that Parliament has got in oversight. I am a Member of the PAC. One of the things we note when we attend the Committee meeting is the repetitiveness of claims or reports of wastage, year in year out. We are in an era when we are talking about issues of waste, the public wage bill and how to cut down on costs. What prevailed in 2008, I can assure the Majority Leader still holds true today. I think the greater the attention we pay to this Report--- If indeed, we want to hold all the persons accountable, we may in fact, pre-emptively begin to solve the problems that are going to confront us as we begin to look at the most recent audits.
