    "content": "Thank you, hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I am happy that this Bill is generating a lot of interest and most of us would like to contribute to it. I am certainly supporting the spirit of this Bill. After the new VAT Bill was enacted, very many people out there suffered because of the increase in price of various commodities. We must accept that the Bill was blanket in its application of the VAT provisions."
