Before I make my remarks, I want to take this opportunity to condole with the families of 15 people who lost their lives this morning in a grisly road accident in my county. This was a 14 seater matatu travelling from Eldoret to Kisii, I am told. The most unfortunate thing is that the 14- seater had 20 passengers. The question we are asking ourselves is, from Eldoret to Nandi Hills, where the accident occurred, there must have been over ten police road blocks. How do we have a 14-seater matatu going through these road blocks?"
