"content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I really want to follow what Sen.(Dr.) Kuti stated; that a lot of these issues, really, we should not be rushing here and making public statements. It tends to exaggerate the problem more than it is. Honestly, if it were my way, and if I knew that the Speaker of the National Assembly has yet to make a ruling, I would not even be engaged here now. I would have come to you and asked you: “Please, exercise your diplomacy, which you have in plenty, and have some quiet consultations with the Speaker before he makes that ruling.” That is the way that I would have gone. Most likely maybe the ruling would have been a good exposition of the law, the way Sen. Orengo exposed here, as to what the procedures ought to be. There would have been no need to have been exchanging a lot of accusations and so on. So, for me, the only amendment that I would make is that rather than wait for the ruling to be made before you intervene, exercise your diplomacy now and go and have a quiet chat with the Speaker of the National Assembly before that ruling. Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir."
