    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, thank you very much for the opportunity. It is a moment like this that brings us together as a nation and we realize exactly what we are made of. This is a moment of pride for the whole of our nation. I want to thank Sen. Fatuma Dullo for coming up with this Motion. It is important that we should commend Ms. Lupita Nyong’o for the achievement that she has made, not just for herself, but for this nation. I agree with her when she said, particularly to the youth, that they must be living their dreams because their dreams are valid. That is a statement that will go down in the history of this country, particularly for the youth, because, indeed, their dreams are valid. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I had occasion to talk to her father Sen. (Prof) Anyang’- Nyong’o about this issue in the presence of Sen. Wetangula. I told him long before she was declared the winner of the award and when it was becoming quite obvious that she was going higher as pertains to this award, that she had done us proud already. Even if she had not gone to the final leg, she had already taken a very long journey and she made us feel very proud.
