Why the reduction from Kshs500,000 to Kshs300,000, especially when the law is going to be there for a long time, and the value of money is likely to go down? So, rather than keep on revising it, it is better to stick with a higher figure, so that it is a deterring factor for long enough, rather than reduce it and very soon, because of decline in the value of money, it will not be as deterrent as it should be. So, I was going to request the Mover of the amendment to allow the Bill to stand as it is now rather than change the figure."
