Member of this House has asked: “Has the Governor sat down with the stakeholders?” I can give the information with authority that indeed he has but the process of raising taxes goes through the county assembly. We are law makers. You cannot come and put pressure on the Governor today and expect him to change the law immediately. It has to go to the county assembly. The rates have to be agreed on by the county assembly. So, let us be respectful to the Governor."
