Members, I just want to emphasize the point made by the Chairman of the Committee on Finance, Commerce and Economic Affairs on public comment on matters that are seized by the Committee. He is even making reference that even before the matters have actually been seized by the Committee or tabled in this House, there is a lot of public debate. Since Senators have an opportunity to interrogate those documents as you are required, it is only fair that you only comment after the Committee has concluded its work. I know that is a bit difficult, but I will ask Senators to try to really restrain themselves from commenting on this because the report is sent to Parliament for interrogation. It is not final. It is up to Parliament to make its own report after all the parties have been heard."
