I rise to support this Bill because in many ways, it is trying to define the institution of marriage which is very important especially on the part of the definition of age, and the types of marriages. I think this clarification is important. Marriage is a difficult institution which is treated in many ways. But all in all, it is important to have clarity in terms of the law and how this has to be carried out. People are given choices in this particular Bill; in the sense that they can decide on what form of marriage to take. Those who want to be in ‘multi-party’ or in ‘single party” that is monogamy or polygamy; it gives people choices. With those remarks, I support the Bill. Thank you."
