The wife of the Nigerian Ambassador, Mrs. Tess Iyi Wigwe then sent information to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as to the consequences of that action by her husband and we carried the investigations. We then sent a note to the Nigerian Government, whereby we were informing them of the events which took place."
