    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I like what Sen. Murkomen is saying and I think the spirit of the law is exactly what the Senator is saying. According to the Powers and Privileges Act, no Member of Parliament can be arrested while attending to the functions of the legislature or when you are travelling to perform the functions of a legislative nature. That was to give protection so that Members of Parliament cannot in any circumstances be intimidated. If situations arise where in performance of your legitimate and constitutional duties, you stand accused, then the role of Parliament cannot be as robust as it should be."
