"content": "Hon. Speaker, we are also giving counties money to purchase drugs. There was an amendment which was being discussed at the Senate with regard to the Kenya Medical Supplies Agency (KEMSA) being able to supply drugs to all the counties and we had people in certain areas opposing it. However, if we do not have standardization of all the drugs that we are giving in the country, then some counties will buy chalk while others will buy other things which do not exist. This will be setting a bad precedent. What the governors need to know is that they need to come up with rules and regulations that will outlive their stay as governors.
