Pursuant to Standing Order 44(2)(c), I wish to request a Statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Agriculture, Livestock and Co-operatives on the national Government plan to spend Kshs700 million to construct fish ponds in the country. Hon. Speaker, the national Government recently released money to county governments through the Transition Authority (TA) for implementation of fish farming programme.
