    "content": "One thing I want to commend the Committee on is allocating money to REA. As part of the Jubilee Government policy, every child in primary school must have a laptop. It is very important that we provide electricity to all the schools, especially in the rural areas, where the national grid is yet to get there. I wish to request the REA to minimise the cost of rural electrification by investing in the national grid, so that they can reach far- placed areas and ensure that we have electricity from the national grid in every corner of this country. As it is now, power from generation sets is very expensive, and is not sustainable."
