    "content": "Thank you so much Chair. I want to thank the Chair of the Committee for the contribution he has made. I also want to thank the Mover, hon. Ng’ongo, for this very important intervention. I want to oppose the proposals made by the Chair of the relevant Committee in as far as Clause 5(a)(i) is concerned. It talks about milk and cream containing added sugar. This is like a supplement. The Chair may not need sugar, as you can see. But children suffering in refugee camps and the people who are under Red Cross may need this for nutrition. That is why I propose that this should be retained as it is and I oppose. Sugar is a very important item in nutrition. If we remove it from this list, it will attract VAT and that may cause difficulties to people dealing with persons who are in that kind of a disadvantage.
