    "content": "I am proposing the deletion of Sub-sections (2) and (3) of Section 7 of the National Police Service Act. Essentially, those sections are the provisions of law under which the ongoing police vetting is being undertaken. Therefore, to be clear colleagues, I am proposing that we stop the ongoing vetting in the manner it is proceeding until we have a proper legislative framework under which that vetting process can be undertaken."
