    "content": "Thank you, hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for giving me this opportunity. I rise to join my colleagues in supporting this very important Motion. This Motion touches on the formation of many of the necessary legal frameworks that are critical to the achievement of the main objective of having a common market for the EAC. The three Bills which have been proposed or are currently under discussion in EALA are very important. If I may start with the East African Community Cross Border Legal Practice Bill, 2014, for the business environment to thrive, certain basic provisions have to be available. Legal services are one of the very important provisions that enhance the performance of businesses across the borders, so that if there is a Kenyan company going to Tanzania or Uganda, they are able to access legal services which they know very well and have been dealing with before and probably, carry along their own lawyers who The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
