    "content": "Mr. Chairman, Sir, I beg to move:- THAT clause 31 of the Bill be amended by- (a) re-numbering the existing provision as Subclause (1); and (b) inserting the following new Subclause after Subclause (1)- (2) A person who immediately before the commencement of this Act was an officer of the former Electoral Commission shall, subject to the provisions of the Constitution, this Act and any other relevant law, be an officer of the Commission"
