The Senate must check whether he misappropriated funds or not or whether he has breached the Constitution or any other law. The assembly must also vote in the majority. That is not easy. Those benchmarks are the same for the President. So, if we say that we cannot impeach the governor that means that we cannot also impeach the President. The same law applies to the President. He must get two-thirds majority in the assembly. The Motion must also come here and we vote by another two-thirds. That is not easy. However, if you commit a crime, then you must be impeached and there is no other solution to it. Let me put it this way; I respect Embu MCAs. I have not seen anything like this. They voted overwhelmingly, tribe or no tribe, clan or no clan. They voted twice and they spoke to us. If we do not do what we must do this afternoon, there will be no use for this Senate in this country. We will not have protected the interests of the counties.
