    "content": " Hon. Senators, I have a short communication to make. You may recall that the Senate met on 13th of May, 2014, at 3.30 p.m. with the aim of considering the Division of Revenue Bill (National Assembly Bill No.15 of 2014), but we did not consider it. You may recall further that I issued a Communication from the Chair informing the House that there have been developments that have necessitated the Speaker to direct that the consideration of the Bill and the House be adjourned until a date to be notified to you in the usual manner, as set out in the Standing Orders, during which date the House would consider the Division of Revenue Bill. Hon. Senators, by Gazette Notice No.3223 dated 13th May, 2014, the Speaker of the Senate appointed today, Thursday 15th of May, 2014, as a day for the Special Sitting of the Senate. The notice specified that the Special Sitting will be held here at the Senate Chamber, 1st Floor, County Hall, Nairobi, commencing at 2.30 p.m. The Business to be transacted at this sitting will be the consideration of the Division of Revenue Bill (National Assembly Bill No.15 of 2014), as passed by the National Assembly, with amendments on 23rd of April, 2014. Hon.
