Let me also finish by clarifying that when the recent audited accounts were submitted by the Auditor-General to the National Assembly, it became the mandate of the Public Accounts Committee and the Public Investment to approve the accounts and table them in the House. The Chairman of the Public Accounts and the Public Investment Committee is a Member of the CORD coalition. I had told the Senate Minority Leader that he has a mandate to speak to his Members who are the majority in the Public Accounts and the Public Investment Committee of the House to approve those accounts. They spend the last 12 months politicking instead of addressing these issues."
