Kittony on transformation of National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) and specifically the request was on three items namely:- (i) an explanation as to the measures that are being taken to address the systemic challenges within NCPB; (ii) an explanation on the measures being taken to re-engineer and transform NCPB operations both as a supplier of last resort and a custodian of the country’s strategic grain reserve; (iii) an explanation on the measures being taken to cushion farmers from adverse suffering from erratic market forces.
