Speaker, the Commission on the Implementation of the Commission (CIOC) has been holding round table meetings in conjunction with the Attorney-General and the Kenya Law Reform Commission to come up with legislation proposals and afterwards submitting them to the National Assembly in good time. Hon. Speaker, the HBC will, under your leadership, accord priority to the said Bills to ensure that they are considered and passed before the constitutional deadline. Finally, the HBC will meet on Tuesday, 10th June 2014, at the rise of the House to consider business for the rest of the week. I now wish to lay this Statement on the Table of the House. Thank you."
