    "content": "Mr. Chairman, Sir, I beg to move:- THAT the first Schedule be amended by inserting the following new paragraph after paragraph 1- (1A) The chairperson and members of the Selection Panel shall, before assuming office, take and subscribe the oath or affirmation of office prescribed in the Third Schedule. Mr. Chairman, Sir, what I intend to achieve with this amendment is to bring the members of the selection panel also to take oath of office. If you look at the oath of office prescribed in the Third Schedule, it is only the commissioners who are supposed to be subjected to oath of office. However, I am recommending that we also subject the members of the selection panel to the oath of affirmation of office because this is an important task that they are supposed to do. I beg to move."
