I also sympathize with my colleagues and I would like to ask the Chairman of the Departmental Committee on Administration and National Security to clarify whether, due to insecurity in this country, senior police officers do not have the powers to transfer the police officer who was there. After listening to my colleagues, that was a very serious case. Some Members of Parliament were attacked. I have also heard similar problems and when you ask the Inspector-General (I-G), he says that some police officers do not have powers to transfer others until they go to the Kavuludi Commission. Could he clarify whether that is true so that this House can amend the law to give senior police officers some powers to transfer their officers?"
