    "content": "On a point of order, hon. Deputy Speaker. I want to raise an issue of concern in terms of interventions. I am a Member of this Committee and when hon. Members are questioning and referring to this Statement as inadequate, as a Committee’s response, I do not remember the Committee being seized of this matter in any way. Therefore, I think this was initially a Statement by the Chairperson. It is unfortunate because the Committee cannot continue taking responsibility when the matter has not come before it. I would agree with our Chairperson that the matter needs to go back to the Committee. But it should not be taken as if the Committee has actually engaged in this matter."
