The aspirations of this particular Bill is to protect the victims of crime and providing them with better information and support services, compensating them and giving them reparations and also providing for special protection of the vulnerable. I am hoping that the monitoring mechanism that is envisaged under Article 22 of this particular Bill will live to see that we can realise the aspirations of this particular Bill. I would like to stop by congratulating my sister once again and to request Members of this House to, please, support this Bill and, perhaps, give sufficient proposals on how to make it better.
