    "content": "attempt to bring a Bill or an Act of Parliament in place and which Bill we passed allowing also for the provision of the retirement benefits of the Deputy President and other designated State officers but unfortunately the President then refused to assent to the Bill but assented only the amendment to his retirement Bill. Therefore, this Act will provide for the granting of pension and other retirement benefits to the persons who hold the offices of the Deputy President and holders of designated State offices upon their ceasing to hold office as such."
