    "content": "Thank you, hon. Deputy Speaker for giving me this opportunity. I want to seek clarification as to why an Act was passed in this august House in 2011, but it is not applied. I must say that we have to address this problem in another way, or through other strategies. I know it is mostly practised in the northern part of Kenya, Maasai land and also in Kisii. It is very disadvantageous. The Leader of the Majority Party must come up with other ways of dealing with this issue, because it is really primitive and has a lot of disadvantages; it is an uncouth way of dealing with our daughters."
