    "content": "We are aware that the former Prime Minister, the Vice-President, the Speaker and the people whose names or whose positions are indicated in this Bill are people who have played a very commendable role in this society. We still remember them, whether they have left politics or not. They will form a big part of history of this country and we will never forget them. Books will be written about them and children will read about them. These are heroes of this country and they have played a key role in representing our country abroad as well. So, they are known worldwide apart from the fact that they are Kenyans. That in itself is a contribution to this country and we need to recognize them in every way possible. Retirement benefit is a necessity for people who have played a key role like they have done."
