"content": "In addition, on the safety points particularly the underpasses, we appreciate that at night, they are not safe. Therefore, people tend to avoid using them because they meet with law breakers. We will discuss these issues with the Ministry and ensure that appropriate action is taken. However, above all, there is need for Kenyans to appreciate that this super highway is for all of us; for convenience of travel and mobility. That is why issues such as vandalism should never arise. If you move across on Thika Road near Murang’a Road, you will see that there are barriers which have been placed to stop people from crossing at non-designated areas. However, some people bring those barriers down and then risk their lives by crossing on the road. This is really a question of personal responsibility and discipline."
