The time has come for us to invest in other equally important national priorities, including national security, national unity and respect for institutions. Democracy is not the only variable that we need to invest in. So, Mr. Speaker, Sir, my comments are not generalizing; they are not aimed at political parties, they are aimed at particular individuals whom I am requesting, especially in this time of mourning and sadness---. Time has come when Kenya becomes greater than our political parties."
