    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, unfortunately, I am not finding myself with a choice. But allow me to explain the urgency of the matter. I will just take one minute. There is a batch of engineering students who are supposed to graduate from the Technical University of Mombasa. The university is not recognized by the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK). Therefore, if they graduate this week, they will be permanently ineligible for registration as professionals. This is why we need the Government to tell the Senate, or for that matter the nation, what is being done to address their predicament. The Chairperson of the Education Committee must put more effort to get a statement so that the Government can intervene before these poor students lose their professional life."
