"content": "Thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker. I also rise to support this Motion, first, by thanking the Mover of the Motion. I support this Motion knowing very well that, today, when we look at the new technologies that we have, especially within our hospitals, and the lack of facilities that we have been crying for, for many years that, indeed, if we can find connectivity, we will even manage to liaise one county to the other counties. Madam Temporary Speaker, when we talk about technology today, I want to also thank the Vice Chancellor of Kenyatta University, Prof. Olive Mugenda, who has done a tremendous job. I think she has one of the best medical schools now, with the best facilities not just in East Africa, but in Central and Sub-Saharan Africa. But I know that the challenge we are facing now is even to have those who understand the technology of those machines and to work with it. Therefore, she has managed even to send some of the personnel to Boston, in the USA, to train so that they can come back home and now assist. If you look at the diseases we face today like cancer, this is one disease that, indeed, we need technology and personnel who will understand how to deal with these machines and technology.
